About this conceptBuilt by Tideframe Digital
A lifter setting up over a loaded barbell on a chalk-marked rubber floor

Strength and conditioning · Open late · Melbourne’s inner north

Lift after dark.

Coached barbell, conditioning and mobility classes from 5:30am until late. Small groups, a written plan for every session, and a floor that stays lit after the city goes quiet.

  • Squat
  • Pull
  • Press
  • Carry
  • Sprint
  • Breathe

Every session is coached, planned and written on the board before you walk in.

That is the idea behind this concept gym: no guessing what today is, and a coach in the room for every class on the timetable.

The floor after dark

A look around the kind of gym this concept describes. Scroll to move along.

  • A lifter with a barbell across her shoulders in a rack under strip lights

    01

    Racks under strip light

Six racks and platforms, set up for barbell work from the first class to the last.

  • A chalked hand lifting a kettlebell, with chalk dust in the air

    02

    Chalk on the floor

A bucket at every station. Use it, then sweep up after.

  • Two people working battle ropes in a gym

    03

    Ropes on the turf

A turf lane for ropes, sleds, carries and sprints.

  • A lifter resting between sets in a dim gym, in black and white

    04

    Rest between sets

Nobody rushes you off a rack. Rest is part of the plan.

  • A runner crouched to tie a shoe on a road at night

    05

    Late, by design

The last class starts after 8pm on weeknights.
